Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor with Save the Children International


After completing her BA in Geography and Developmental Studies at the University of Melbourne, Linda completed a summer internship which led her to being part of Save the Children’s emergency team in Melbourne. First serving as Humanitarian Coordinator there, Linda next moved to Save the Children Sweden where she became a monitoring, evaluation, accountability and organisational learning (MEAL) specialist as part of the Swedish Humanitarian Active Response team. She deployed to Lebanon, working with refugees affected by the Syrian crisis. Her next assignment was Kurdistan in northern Iraq where Syrians of Kurdish descent were streaming in, in search of safety. After serving in Tacloban in the Philippines to help children and families affected by Typhoon Haiyan. Linda is now with Save the Children International, based in their regional office here in Singapore where she supports 16 countries across the region in both their development and humanitarian response work.

Linda is also an avid tennis player, having been captain of the U18 squad at UWCSEA and president of the University of Melbourne tennis club for her four years there, representing the university in competition. Linda has come back to UWCSEA many times to speak to students and participate in Alumni Careers Week.
